It was once again a packed weekend! (Would you expect less though?) We celebrated Halloween in as many ways as we could...
Part 1
On Friday night we went with Grandma Caswell to the Harvest party at our church. They had games and prizes for all the kids. Grant was really good at the throwing games. The cutest was when he was trying to knock down the milk cans with a ball. He just walked up to the cans with the ball in his hand and knocked them over without letting go of the ball. We left with some great prizes and some yummy candy!
On Friday night, after the Harvest Party, we drove to California to our friend's cabin on the Scott River just like we did last year. We spent the weekend with our friends and did many fun fall activities including, pumpkin carving, cookie decorating, and the candy hunt. In lue of trick-or-treating, the dads all hid candy along the road for the kids to find. It led them to an old bus where the dads were waiting to surprize them. Maybe next year will be the year for Grant to really get into it.
Grant was not at all excited to keep on his costume. We found out that candy is a wonderful bribery tool :)
I guess Grant didn't want to be a part of the girls picture
On Sunday we made it back home in time to go to another Harvest Party in Jacksonville with cousins Hailey and Blake. It was another fun evening of games and prizes. I think we are done with Halloween for the year!
Such fun fall times!!! Great pics. It looks like Hailey was about as tired of being in a costume as Grant in that picture!
ReplyDeleteI love the picture craziness!! So cute! I wish I could've seen him in person in his little costume
