We Love Black Butte
Grant took his first trip to our family's home in Black Butte when he was just 3 weeks old. He went with Mommy, Gammy, Grammy-Grammy, and Cecelia. We had fun hanging out in the sun, going to the pool, going on walks, and visiting Aunt Alaire and Uncle Ivar.

Hanging out in Tiller
One of Paul's favorite places to go as a kid (and even now) was his grandparent's home in Tiller. He grew up hunting, fishing, snorkeling, and swimming in the river there. Some day Grant will follow in his Daddy's footsteps and love Tiller just as much. We had a great time introducing Grant to his Great Grandpa and Grandma and all the aunts and cousins who were there.

Camping at Loon Lake
Gammy, Auntie Allison, Auntie Katelyn, and Mommy took Grant on his first camping trip to Loon Lake. Although we planned on a week of warm weather, laying out on the beach, and swimming, we spent most of the time bundled up in front of the fire. We did get a few hours out on the beach, but there was no swimming for us. We ran out of wood for our fire and ended up leaving three days early. Grant did such a good job sleeping in the tent. We had a great time despite the cold.
Fourth of July
Baby's first Fourth of July was in Roseburg at the Dorsey's house (Paul's aunt and uncle). Haden and Paul have been best friends and cousins all their lives. It was so much fun to let Grant meet Haden's daughter Gracie, who is 6 months old. We had a great time playing volleyball and badmitten, eating yummy food, and enjoying Jake's awesome fireworks show.
Summer Swimming
This summer Grant got his first taste of swimming in the pool. His first time was at Aunt Heather and Uncle Eric's. He SCREAMED!!! I think it was a little too cold for him. As the summer goes on, the water is getting warmer and he likes it more and more. We will have to get him into swimming lessons soon!

Father's Day
Coffee Time
Splish Splash!
The first time we gave Grant a bath he didn't like it too much. We realized that the big tub didn't keep him warm enough with so little water. We have since moved to bathing in the kitchen sink, and he likes it much better. So bathtime is not such an ordeal now.
This is what my hair does after each bath!
This isn't so bad...
Nevermind...Yes it is!
It wouldn't rotate...sorry...
I'm still not happy about this!
That's more like it :)
