...Ok, we didn't truly go camping, we went yurting. We decided that we wanted to start a family tradition of camping at the coast. But our summers always seem so full, and the coast isn't the best vacation spot in the summer (when you want heat), so we decided to make it a pre-summer camping tradition...to help get us ready for summer. Some of our good friends came with us, and we had a blast. We were prepared for rain with tons of games to play in the yurt, but it ended up being a beautiful weekend and the games didn't come out once. The first day we went to the beach to play in the sand, fly kites, and blow bubbles. Then we took a hike out on a beautiful cape. Since we skipped his morning nap, Grant was ready for his afternoon nap by the time we got home. We spent the evening visiting around the campfire. The next day we went back out to the beach and basked in the SUN! It was so nice and warm. Grant's favorite pasttime of the weekend was eating dirt and sticks. Boy did we have a mess to clean up when we got home! Muddy campgrounds and crawling baby makes for a huge mess, but we had a great time anyway.

Another Trip to Florence
We took yet another trip to Florence (we must like that place...or at least the people who live there). Auntie Elizabeth came to visit with Henry. We got to spend four days playing in the sand, going to the coffee shop, and hanging out at the house. It is so much fun to see Henry grow and be reminded of where Grant used to be. He is changing so fast!

Fun at the Park
It was a fun day at the park for Grant with his cousins, Marissa, Tyler, and Brian, from Salem. We had a yummy picnic with peanut butter and jelly sandwiches (one of Grant's favorites). He loved sliding down the slide and swinging on the swings. We can't wait for summer so we can do this more often!

Grant's Many Faces Part 2
Does anyone remember this? Grant is still into making faces. He cracks us up with his constant expressions. Enjoy a glimpse into our daily life :)

It's About Time!
I know some of you may think that a haircut was long overdue...but I personally liked Grant's crazy locks :) It gave him a look all his own. People would constantly comment on his hair wherever we went. But...I guess it was getting a little too shaggy. Daddy wanted to wait until his first birthday to cut it, but Mommy couldn't quite make it that long. I was a little hesitant knowing that once he got his hair cut he would look more like a little boy than a baby. It was time.
