It's a tradition every year for Paul to go duck hunting with his cousins in Roseburg. It has become my tradition to enjoy good food, a cozy day, and wonderful company with the women of the family in Roseburg. We all hang out at Uncle Ron and Aunt Carol's warm house while the men freeze out by the river. Unfortunately, there were no ducks to be shot this year, but we still had a good time. Grant got to have his first sleep over with Daddy's cousin Haden and Lauren's daughter, Gracie, in her tent. And, of course, we had to go to the pumpkin patch. What would a fall weekend in Roseburg be without going to Kruse Farms? Here are some highlights from the weekend.

Tons of Fun
Whenever my sister-in-law, Elizabeth, and the kids come to town there is always lots of fun to be had. This time was no different. She brought the kids out without Jordan this time. He was busy with a couple trips of his own. Her mom came with her instead. I took the kids to Florence for the week to spend time with their cousins. Our week was full!
The first activity was going to the pumpkin patch. It's something that my family has always done together, so it was really fun to do with Elizabeth and the kids. This was Aubrie's first trip to a pumpkin patch. She slept through some of it, but enjoyed being with her cousin Hosanna.
The pumpkin carving was a little different this year. Gammy got the boys Mr. Potato Head Pumpkin Heads. They had a lot of fun putting them together, and the clean-up was super easy!
Once again, we attempted to get pictures of the kids together (something we have been trying to do ever since Grant and Henry were babies). This time we bribed them with M&Ms. It was the closest thing we've ever gotten to a good picture of the two of them.
The girls are a little easier. They like being by each other, but we just need them to work on looking at the camera at the same time.
We did something new this time on the coast. We took the kids to the Oregon Coast Aquarium. It was so much fun to see the boys so excited about all of the sea animals.
After the aquarium we found this great park with a pirate ship. As you can see, the slide was huge!
Aren't our girls cuties? .......Yikes!!! :)
Fun, fun trip! We love spending time with family!
