Grant has since discovered the joy of making his own towers and knocking them down. He started out barely being able to contain himself from knocking them down. He would just get it built and immediately push it over. Check out his face in the first picture of this sequence. He would get that really excited pursed lips face right before he knocked them down. He started to realize though that making the towers was kind of fun, and he would get really upset when they would fall over while he was building them. Eventually, he got back to the fun of just knocking them down. Now whenever he sees his bag of blocks he says "ta tow" (tall tower). It is so much fun to watch him grow and develop into a little boy who is able to do so much!

Tall Towers
When Grant was 9 months old, he and Daddy started making tall towers. Daddy would build them, and Grant loved to knock them down. Here are pictures of the best tower ever made and the follow-up of Grant loving to knock it down.

Roseburg Weekend
One of Paul's favorite traditions with his extended family is duck hunting on opening weekend. They all get together in Roseburg and take off early in the morning to hunt ducks. Then there is always a big feast when they get back to Uncle Ron and Aunt Carol's house. It's been a tradition for so many years, but this year Grant and I got to enjoy it too. We stayed with Haden, Lauren, and Gracie. We had such a great time! Grant loved the 3 dogs, 2 chickens, and 1 kitty they had at their house. He was in animal heaven. It was a nice relaxing weekend full of fun fall activities. Here are a few (ummm...more than a few) pictures from the weekend.

Welcome Fall!
I have been waiting for fall since probably the end of August. I don't normally like to complain about nice weather, but I have been wanting it to be fall already!!! So even though the weather is still nice, and we are still wearing short sleeves, we went to the farm. My family has a tradition of going to a pumpkin patch every year. We want to start that tradition with our little family. We went to Seven Oaks Farm. I know that I have a tendency to over populate my blog with pictures, but really, how could I cut one of these out?! (Oh...and fair warning...we are going to my family's traditional pumpkin patch in a couple of weeks, so be prepared for more pumpkin pictures!)
Our family at the farm...can't believe we actually got him to look through!

"Pup-py!"
I guess you could say that Grant is obsessed with his "puppy". He loves to say it, he loves to sleep with it, he loves to cuddle with it, he loves to carry it around, he loves to eat with it beside him, he loves to take it everywhere we go! What can you expect from a boy who's first word was "dog" though, right? Remember the Dog Party? He loves dogs! But especially his puppy :)
