Grant has finally learned to roll over. It was something that we have been waiting for for a long time. He started to roll from his front to his back (which is much easier) when he was about 8 weeks old. He never did it consistently though, and couldn't ever roll from back to front. Well yesterday he finally did it! But along with more movement comes more danger. He rolled over to the counter in our bathroom and pulled the hair straightener down on his head! Thank the Lord it wasn't turned on, but he got a shock nonetheless. I think it was the first time he has actually cried from inflicting pain upon himself. Sad :( We learned very quickly the importance of keeping things out of his reach! So now he can roll from his back to his front almost immediately when he is put down, but once he gets there he forgets how to roll back over and cries for someone to help him back onto his back because he doesn't like being on his tummy! Hopefully he will figure it out soon, because it is slightly annoying to have to constantly go turn him around just to have him roll over again! We are excited though for this new stage in his life. It is hard to believe how quickly he is growing up.

Go Ducks!
Grant was born into an Oregon Duck loving family. Poppop and Uncle J started going to the Duck football games a long time ago. Eventually the whole family started going with a whole crew from Florence. It was really a fun tradition. We are starting Grant out early with his Duck gear. Someday he will love going to Duck games with Poppop!

Welcome Blake and Hailey!
We welcomed twins into our family this week. Paul's sister, Heather, had Blake and Hailey on Tuesday. We are excited to have some cousins in the area for Grant to grow up with. The twins were born at 37 weeks. They actually had to induce Heather since 37 weeks is full-term for twins. The babies were perfect, and didn't even have to spend time in the NICU. Praise the Lord! Grant didn't quite know what to think about the new little babies, but his world is going to change with these new arrivals!

A-Hunting We Will Go
This weekend was the start of hunting season. We, of course, were up in Tiller for a weekend of hunting. It works out really well for all of us. Grant and Mommy stay in the house and relax all day while Daddy goes out to get the big bucks. I know that staying in a house is a little bit unusual as far as hunting camps go, but that is about the only way that Paul can get us to go with him. We had a wonderful time together as a family, and Paul got his buck! Down in the garage helping Daddy get ready for hunting

Coast Trip
We took a fun trip to the coast with our good friends, the Davenports. We stayed with Gammy and Poppop, but they went to the Duck game, so we spent most of the time showing Spencer, Amanda, and Claire around Florence. We had lots of fun in the beautiful weather.
We had to start our morning at Gammy and Poppop's coffee shop.
