Another 4th of July

Celebrating the 4th of July is always so much fun. It is a relaxing day where we get to spend time in the warm weather with family and friends. I love Christmas, Thanksgiving, and Easter too, but it is usually cold during those holidays. I love that we can finally celebrate in the heat! It seems like we spend more of our efforts on just being together than all the "stuff" that needs to get done with the other holidays. Relaxing... :)

This year we were in Medford for the 4th. We decided to try out the Central Point 4th of July parade. It was Aubrie's first parade, and she seemed to enjoy it. Grant loved it. We went with our friends, the Mullineauxs, Grandma, and Auntie Heather and the twins.

After the parade we made our way over to the festivities at the park. There was lots to see and eat. Grant and his friend, Addy, had a great time together!

Next, we went over to Grandma and Poppin's for a BBQ. Daddy's Uncle Tom and Aunt Beth were visiting. It was their first time meeting Aubrie. We had a nice time visiting with them, and Grant had lots of fun with Blake and Hailey.

The last thing on our agenda for the day was to watch the fireworks. We met back up with our friends and watched the Medford fireworks. They were pretty good and the kids really enjoyed them!

It was a full day, but lots of fun!
